2008 Cadillac XLR Sporty Car
2008 Cadillac XLR is revised suspension tuning and a new Platinum Edition option package. It has two-seater sporty car based on the Chevrolet Corvette, but XLR has unique style, power-folding hardtop, and different powertrains. Base models have 320-hp 4.6-liter V8 engine. High-performance XLR-V version has a supercharged, 443-hp 4.4-liter V8. A 6-speed automatic transmission is standard on both. Security features available include ABS, traction control, charging system, front side airbags that protect the head and chest. Run-flat tires are standard, as GM automatic adjusting Magnetic Ride Control suspension. All models get a revised version of Magnetic Ride Control is designed to improve ride and handling response. The new Platinum Edition option package for the basic model includes unique interior and exterior trim. We have not tested 2008 Cadillac XLR.
