2008 Chevrolet Avalanche Large Pickup Truck

2008 Chevrolet Avalanche profit side curtain airbags standard on all models. This reconfigurable pickup truck is essentially a crew-cab version of the Chevrolet Suburban SUV with a folding midgate separating cab from cargo bed. Lowering midgate expanded bed to 8.2 ft of 5.3. Avalanche seats up to six and come in LS, LT, and LTZ trims. Each is available with rear-wheel drive or full-time 4-wheel drive that can be left engaged on dry pavement and includes low-range gear for off-roading. Standard 2WD avalanches are 320-hp 5.3-liter V8 engine. 4WD models get a 310-hp version of the same machine. The latter is capable of running on E85 fuel-ethanol mixture. Optional on LT and LTZ models is a 366-hp 6.0-liter V8. All engines have GM's Active Fuel Management cylinder deactivation, and they were the team with 4-speed automatic transmission. Maximum towing capacity 8200 pounds Available safety features include ABS, traction control, charging system, and curtain side airbags. GM Autoride load-leveling suspension LTZs standard, optional on the LTS. Options include a navigation system and DVD entertainment.
