2009 Acura RL was redesigned, refreshed style and get more powerful. Acura's flagship sedan has standard all-wheel drive. The only powertrain team's 300-hp 3.7-liter V6 engine with 5-speed automatic transmission. This replaces the 290-hp 3.5-liter V6. Security features that are available include ABS, traction control, charging system, front side airbags, and curtain side airbags. Options packages, prices as separate models, including the Technology Package voice activated navigation with glass cameras and then access real-time traffic and weather information. The second Technology Package adds adaptive cruise control and Acura's Collision Mitigation Braking System, which is approaching the signal from the object and apply the brakes and tightens the front seatbelts if it determines a collision is unavoidable.
