Model year 2010 marks a new generation Audi S4, a souped-up version of the A4 sedan, itself redesigned for 2009. The supercharged V-6 gave up nothing to the previous generation V-8 - except dismal gas mileage and tax-related drunk, thank God. Increased all-wheel drive, a more comfortable ride and lower prices make a better package overall and a good upgrade from the regular A4. S4 sedan last was 2008, but there was carryover S4 convertible, called the Cabriolet, in the year 2009. For the year 2010, we have A4 2.0T, named for the 211-horsepower, 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder. This year, like last, a sedan and wagon (Avant) versions of regular A4, but no S4 Avant. Sedan has a 333-hp, 3.0-liter supercharged V-6.
