Peugeot's replacement for the 407 and 607 saloons, the 508, has been caught in the winter tests under heavy disguise. Peugeot 508 will sit in between the two models it replaces in terms of size and will share all new chassis with the Citroen C5. Disguise the car's weight construction gives little away about the 508's styling. However, it is understood that the design has eye-catching and detailed "hard-edged" look that will help to stand out from other medium saloons. Peugeot 508 is expected to feature hydropneumatic suspension and adaptive headlights. A diesel-hybrid powertrain option is also likely to be offered, Peugeot was a pioneer of technologies with 3008 hybrids to come. 508 concept car is expected to be introduced this year's Paris Motor Show, before it launched the production version at the Geneva motor show next year.
