Zenvo was started by three people who decided to try what the likes of Bugatti, Pagani and Koenigsegg have done before them. The purpose, according to Jesper Jensen corporate bosses, not to build a road rocket that can beat Veyron in terms of raw speed (although the figures are claimed - 0-62mph in 3.0sec and 233mph max - not too shabby). Instead, the idea was to come with a car that can easily be driven every day, but which can also double as a track weapon. The st1 was originally designed as a rolling chassis, built around a steel spine with a double wishbone suspension and a three-way adjustable Öhlins dampers.

Big turbocharged supercharged V8 and longitudinal position just behind the passenger cell, and equipment and ancillaries from the radiator and then spread throughout the car.

After all hardware is in place and functioning to their satisfaction, the crew requested Zenvo Danish designer Christian Brandt contour pen carbonfibre bodyshell. The car you see here is a prototype, which has a clock more than 45,000 kilometers - and not see all shabby for it.

Motor V8 awakened into action by turning the ignition knob on the center console to the right, press the clutch, and then press the start button on the piston-shaped chunky gearlever while providing cheaper prod the gas pedal or two. 7.0-liter motor that erupted into life with a rough skin, but soon settled into civilized unemployed. Clutch not ask Schwarzenegger-esque front thigh, but Ricardo slotting six-speed gearbox into first gear (or other ratio) requires a firm. Teacher technical Zenvo explained Troels Vollersten gearshift linkages rather imposed on the prototype car, and that a new set will make much easier to shift.

The st1 has three engine modes - normal, sport and race - liberate 650bhp, 850bhp and 1104bhp respectively, and the choice of any of these are only the twist-knob off. Traction control fully operational in the normal mode, and partly so in the sport ... but you're on your own in a race full power mode.

Seat of my pants even say 650bhp settings would be enough to beat most rivals, provided you are quick enough with the clutch and gearchange you work. This is not a Honda S2000-style rifle-bolt gearchange requires only film of the wrist. Instead you should be persecuting the alloy knob of a shift in the ratio following a mild or not fast (but maybe a new relationship alluded to earlier will help).

Engine power delivery is relatively smooth and progressive - no alarming peaks or valleys - but did not explode especially enjoyed V8 drag at low speeds in high gear. This, coupled with the obstinacy of the manual gearboxes, suggested a six-speed paddle-shift sequential - built by Xtrac - would be a better option for most.

No-holds-barred 1104bhp mode as soon as practical st1 anything I've ever driven - including the Bugatti Veyron. However, where you and cossets Bugatti insulates you from a lot of violence that occurred in the engine room, then attack you with Zenvo aural battering and physical.

Releasing the full quota of power in part be achieved by opening the flap of the gas, which means increasing the noise level directly to the conversation, the murder rate, and full-throttle gearshifts accompanied by a twitch of the chassis as £ 1055 ft. play style that is best for the rear tire Unstick milling of the asphalt.

Big Brembos brakes (380mm front and 355mm at the rear), but given that I was intensively investigated by Vollersten, who's got a gun, I resist the urge to trample all over them.

Ride quality between the company and the rock-hard, but the production car will have a choice of three settings - comfort, normal and sport. Vollersten said specialist Öhlins shock absorber can provide up to 30 settings for their damper, but it will be too many choices for most owners.

Key question: is Zenvo specific enough to ensure that prices are too high? Frankly, I can not see the value of £ 750,000 worth in the car, but it may appeal as one of only 15 people to have a st1 would be fatal for some people. Those who lose the opportunity will last for ST2.
