German tuner AC Schnitzer has set Roadster BMW Z4, creating ACS4 Turbo. Modifications are designed to range-topping sDrive35i. ECU changes mean that twin-turbocharged, 3.0-liter engine rises from 302bhp to 355bhp. The result is an increase in top speed 178mph and 0-62mph reduced pinch 4.9 seconds, one-fifth seconds faster than the standard Z4. AC Schnitzer also includes a set of springs and sports exhaust system upgrade, to give a more sporty ride and handling package. The ACS4 also has a new aerodynamic package, which includes front spoiler, new side air vents to improve brake cooling, two-piece rear spoiler and chrome front grille.

It also sits on the set of 18-inch alloys, although the options list includes 19 - and 20-inch wheels. Interior also has a few small changes - Aachen-based tuner has put the aluminum cover on the iDrive controller, pedals and gearstick. At this moment, the upgrade is only available in sDrive35i, and while no word on price, the premium above the list price of £ 37,060 is likely to mean ACS4 cost around £ 40,486 together with a Porsche Boxster S.
