Current IRC champion slipped on a patch of ice on a bridge before sliding into a bank. Peugeot 207, although not substantially sustain damage, Meeke and co-driver Paul Nagle could not get the car back onto the road. The accident occurred on the second day of the first stage in Labatie D'Andaure-St Pierre sur Doux.
