Concept Car 2011 Nissan Leaf Electric Vehicle Dashboard Trimming
Now Nissan have a electric vehicle car unveiled for the first time in Japan. The Leaf will have a 100-mile range and a top speed of 90 mph. It’s powered by an electric motor that develops the equivalent of 107-horsepower and pound-feet of torque, enough power to keep up with the Infiniti G37 sedan from 0-30 mph says Nissan.
Key characteristics of the Nissan LEAF include:
* Zero-emission power train and platform
* Affordable pricing
* Distinctive design
* Real-world range autonomy 160km (100 miles)
* Connected Mobility: Advanced intelligent transportation (IT) system
Charging the Leaf will only take 30-minutes with a more conventional heavy-duty 220V outlet it will take more like 6 hours. Figure a good day with a household wall outlet. More information will be coming on U.S. specifications in 2010.
