It's the latest weapon in the warehouse impressive Mercedes' new E-class: plantation. We recently concluded that the E-class sedans have a (very narrow) edge of the new BMW 5 Series, the first time has enjoyed that status in a fair fight in more than 20 years. And now the wagon - arguably the strongest variant - began to fill the dealer.

And believe me, it will fill them to the point of exploding. This new E-class estate even longer than its predecessor, 4895mm and 2071mm in length, including the mirror. This is not designed to bite into and out of the high street parking bays, in other words.

However, the trade-off for this mass is a class-leading load capacity. With the rear seats up, luggage capacity of 695 liters, but they produce lower area 1950 liters. Oh, and there are more 112-liter trunk under the floor above (or below) it.

The price you pay for this is £ 1750 premium over the equivalent sedan - which seems fair for extra practicality.

There must be a catch to all these positive things, right? No. In almost every way - from a less awkward looking to plant more feel - plantation is selected from the class E range.

In front, there is little to indicate that you are on large estates, other than a distant view in the rearview mirror wiper. Latest E-class is neat, classy fascia present and correct, and weight control as much fun in here when they are in the salon. That means that the wheel is a little bit on the light side, especially in the straight forward, but still magnificent smooth and linear.

Examples we came up with the most obvious engine choice, Mercedes '3 .0-liter V6 turbodiesel, and at that point it's no struggling to cope with the weight just shy of 75kg sidewalk two tons. Mercedes claims a 0-62mph time 7.2sec, and it sounds right.

E-class estates come with self-leveling air suspension at the rear as standard, and well hook system with plain water in front. Travel consists of all but the worst urban hole, and the motorway to ease power is an impressive experience. Body twistier controls on the route better than you expect, too.

In accordance with tradition, the new E-class estate can have with seven seats. For £ 960 extra, you can add two leather-trimmed, rear-facing child seat, which folds into the boot floor when not needed, return the space to load it from a simple aircraft hangar.

Neat design touches, including storage at the end of the electric truck, electric trunk lid that automatically moves in and out of the way to extend the load aperture, and handles close to opening the boot that allows you to remove the rear seat without having to climb inside.

In front of the load bay, there is room for four six-footer to travel in comfort - thanks, in part, to the backs of chairs neatly carved.

Okay, so there are some small losses. The amphitheater at the back you can not path to strengthen the voice volume a bit louder than you'll find in a coupe or a saloon. And seven-speed automatic 'box can be a bit awkward at times, introducing an annoying delay when pulled away from the intersection. But this is a very small defect smooth scoresheet. E-class sedan may hold little advantage over the 5-series sedan, but at this strength, BMW will have to work miracles with the next 5-series Touring to avoid defeat.

Soft-top design also helps to give the car Cd of 0.28, 0.4 points more than the coupé (the most aerodynamic production car in the world). But that does not make a convertible rental car the most aerodynamic in its class. With the top closed, 390 liters of boot space, but it decreased to 300 liters with the roof is stored.

Michael Schumacher completed a three-day test session with a GP2 car yesterday at the Jerez circuit, getting within four tenths of the track record. The seven-time champion had to flee again with the wet-weather tires in the morning, but could use slicks for the rest part of the session, which includes a total of 1151kms for a three-day exam.

Schumacher's best lap of 1m24.621s day is, four tenths slower than the record set by Kobayashi in track kamui Spain in October 2008.

"I really can drive a lot on this last day of testing and working perfectly," said Schumacher.

"I am very pleased with how the test go here: we worked with both, time and consistency is good, we can do everything that we had scheduled to do. I feel fit, I felt comfortable right back to the car - hey, let us go for it! "

16 Worst Cars Consumer Choice of The Decade

You would think that with more than a century worth of experience, ultra-sophisticated market research and cost-storey car park failed to look back, the motor industry would be better to build cars that people actually want. But no. Over the last decade thousands of buyers in the wrong direction and disappointment the car company's shareholders have been left to survey the ruins of broken dreams. The first 10 years of this century has changed the impressive array of machines that have lost all kinds of targets.
2002-2005 Renault Vel Satis
On sale: 2002-2005
Price: £21,195-£31,325
Sales target: 3500 annually
Sales achieved: 595 peak in 2002, 1404 total
Taking on BMW, Mercedes and Audi is ambitious, taking them on in their heartland is bolder still and doing it with your weaponry compromised is downright reckless. But compromised (to say the least) was the Vel Satis, most obviously by over-sized headlamps and angled, egg-crate grilles that made it look narked, as well it might with its fat rump and back-flipping C-pillars. And this in an era when Renault’s styling was on good form. Lumpy looks and a lumpy ride, for both the occupants and its maker.

2005-2008 Fiat Croma
On sale: 2005-2008
Price: £15,745-£19,345
Sales target: 5000-6000 annually
Sales achieved: 827 peak in 2006, 1386 total
The best crossovers combine a canny blend of features from various breeds and gift wrap them with a flourish; think Nissan Qashqai or Skoda Yeti. But for an example of how not to do it, remember the 2005 Fiat Croma, a tall estate whose arrival stood out like a raindrop in a thunderstorm. Roomy enough to ring with the echo of wailing Fiat execs.

2003-Present Maybach 57/62
On sale: 2003-present
Price: £263,137-£345,687
Sales target: Not revealed
Sales achieved: 23 peak in 2004, 89 to date
Uber-saloon looks like a cross between an S-class and a stretched Rover 75, but without the elegance. What happens when beating your rival gets out of hand.

2005-2009 Seat Toledo
On sale: 2005-2009
Price: £13,350-£18,100
Sales target: At least 2500 annually
Sales achieved: 1853 peak in 2005, 3264 total
The bustle-booted Toledo was essentially the same car as the Seat Altea, but with a distended rear end whose presence was easy to spot but hard to fathom. Painful proof that bigger really isn’t better.

2005-2008 Peugeot 1007 Novel
On sale: 2005-2008
Price: £10,850-£12,600
Sales target: 17,000 annually
Sales achieved: 3493 peak in 2006, 8036 total
Lazy electric rear sliding doors, excess heft, weak engines, cramped rear quarters and a tiny boot punched holes in Peugeot’s hopes for this novel city car, which departed British showrooms after only three years. Novel, but tripped up by sensible-shoes styling and a troubled door policy.

2003-2008 Vauxhall Signum
On sale: 2003-2008
Price: £17,995-£28,750
Sales target: 8000 annually
Sales achieved: 5501 peak in 2004, 17,367 total
Even Vauxhall struggled to explain what the Signum was for. Cars with foggy reasons to exist tend to find few buyers.

2003-Present Alfa Romeo Spider
On sale: 2003-present
Price: £26,895-£32,395
Sales target: Not revealed
Sales achieved: 746 peak in 2007, 1616 to date
Overweight and underpowered, with a somewhat flexible chassis. Sold moderately for two seasons before fading like a firework.

2007-2009 Dodge Avenger
On sale: 2007-2009
Price: £16,500-£18,400
Sales target: Not revealed
Sales achieved: 732 peak in 2008, 1138 total
These days there are few truly dire cars out there, but this was one. Launched 2007, deleted 2009 - enough already of this abomination.

2002-2007 Fiat Stilo
On sale: 2002-2007
Price: £10,064-£16,995
Sales target: Not revealed
Sales achieved: 15,166 peak in ’02, 44,507 total
Fiat tried to build a Latin Golf with the five-door Stilo, but ended up with an updated Austin Maestro. Semi-decent early sales, vanishing like a sandcastle at high tide in 2004

2006-Present Mercedes-Benz R-Class
On sale: 2006-present
Price: £38,780-£42,910
Sales target: 1800 annually
Sales achieved: 1154 peak in 2006, 3052 to date
Too hulking to appeal to anyone not blessed with a six-lane highway outside their front gate. A great big cross-pollination of an idea that failed to germinate.

2006-2008 Subaru Tribeca
On sale: 2006-2008
Price: £28,595-£33,490
Sales target: 1000 annually
Sales achieved: 277 peak in 2007, 746 total
A nightmare grille was just one of the B9 Tribeca’s troubles; mediocrity in too many other departments was another. That astounding grille couldn’t have helped. Way off target.

2005-Current Peugeot 407 Coupe
On sale 2005-current
Price £18,045-£27,490
Sales target: 2500 in 2006
Sales achieved: 1250 peak in 2007, 3173 to date
The 406 Coupé was much admired - the bigger, pricier, edging-towards-ugly 407 Coupé has proved a resounding miss. Too big, expensive and not pretty enough to sell like its predecessor.

2002-2003 Renault Avantime
On sale: 2002-2003
Price: £24,050-£28,450
Sales target: 1500 annually
Sales achieved: 300 peak in 2002, 448 total
Renault truly lived up to its occasional reputation for weird cars with this: a rebodied, two-door Espace with no rear leg room. Great, but too bold for its own good. In effect, it was a limited edition.

2003-2006 Smart Roadster/ Smart Coupe
On sale: 2003-2006
Price: £10,030-£17,905
Sales target: 7000 combined annually
Sales achieved: 3383 peak in 2004, 7449 total
A desperately frustrating automated manual gearbox, a chassis that was set up for understeer and a strangely styled nose doomed an intriguing sportster. Snared by high prices and a clunky transmission. Not so smart, then…

2002-2006 Nissan Primera
On sale: 2002-2006
Price: £12,795-£21,850
Sales target: 24,000 annually
Sales achieved: 13,511 peak in 2002, 47,093 total
Instead of hiding an excellent chassis and powertrain beneath dull, Euro-Nippon styling, Nissan eased back on dynamics and went for a radical look. Odd styling helped to kill Nissan’s aspirations in this class

2001-2009 Jaguar X-Type
On sale: 2001-2009
Price: £21,558-£32,080
Sales target: Not revealed
Sales achieved: 20,889 peak in 2004, 120,930 total
Hampered by a limited range, unconvincing retro styling and the fact that too many people knew it was based on a Ford Mondeo. A good idea misguidedly executed on inappropriate hardware. Died in 2009.

Mercedes-Benz Based Water Cannon 10000

Mercedes-Benz Based Water Cannon 10000
Mercedes-Benz Based Water Cannon 10000 02
Mercedes-Benz Based Water Cannon 10000 03
This is really confusing what was going to create man to protect / harm (choose) another human being - whatever the reason may be. What looks like a vehicle that comes straight from the Hollywood blockbuster science fiction movie, actually the new "Water Cannon 10,000" or most likely will not be known, WaWe 10, and it will be used by both the federal and state police in Germany for " water-down "violent riots broke out at demonstrations and large events.

You'll find it hard to believe, but under all the Transformers armor is like a Mercedes-Benz Actros 3341 show all-wheel drive and something that global warming protesters would be appreciated, not mean-Euro5 environmentally friendly diesel engine turbo V6 producing 408HP .

Almost all the 10 meters (about 32-feet) high and 3.70 meters (12-feet) WaWe weighs 10 technically permissible weight of vehicles from 33 tonnes.

However, Mercedes claimed that even when fully kitted out and manned, the 10 is not enough WaWe reach the level of this weight as the actual operating load is approximately 31 tons.

The WaWe 9's replacement has been designed to host the crew of five, consisting of driver, commander, observer, and two cannon operator.

Combating violence-large trucks equipped with 10,000 liters of water tanks are stored in the central body and 35 N Rosenbauer aluminum centrifugal pump with the output value of 3500 liters per minute at 10 bar is accommodated in the rear of the vehicle.

Three pumps, two in the front corner of the cab, each with a flow rate of 1200 lt / min, and one at the rear of the vehicle with a flow rate of 900 lt / min, driven by a separate diesel engine meaning they actually operated independently of the vehicle .

Other "highlights" spray nozzles including the floor beneath the vehicle, a chassis designed to protect against fire, while the roof of the cab and the body is also equipped with automatic protection systems.

"As far as we are aware this is the most modern vehicles of its kind in the world," said Achim Friedl, Head of Division in the Ministry of Federal-we 're just wanted to be funny here but we'll let it pass ...- Interior to the Federal Police and Riot Police State Technology and Logistics.

Key official submission to the special vehicles, which amounted to almost one million euros or close to U.S. $ 1.45 million at today's exchange rates, made today at federal police headquarters in Sankt Augustin.

All in all, the German government plans to buy 78 identical WaWe 10s and bring them into service by 2019 as part of the total volume of orders worth 75 million euros or about U.S. $ 110 millio.

Mercedes-Benz said that the first shipment of vehicles produced three series scheduled for the 2010 assessment year following the prototype model.
