2008 Land Rover LR3
2008 Land Rover LR3 loses its V6 engine, but gets a standard power front passenger seat and revised interior trim. This is the only Land Rover with seven passenger seats. It comes in SE and HSE trim, both with 300 hp 4.4-liter V8 and 6-speed automatic transmission. Maximum towing capacity is 7716 pounds Available safety features include ABS, traction control, anti-skid system, front side airbags, and curtain side airbags. LR3s four-wheel drive with low-range gearing and the Land Rover Terrain Response system. This system console switch for the driver to change suspension and drive calibration accommodate normal driving, slippery pavement, mud, sand, and low-speed off-roading possible. Locking the center differential is standard, a locking differential available. LR3 has air-spring suspension with four available ride height and automatic load leveling. Navigation system and bi-xenon headlamps are standard on HSE, available on the SE. Heated front and rear seats are optional for all, and adaptive headlights are optional on the HSE.
