2009 Cadillac CTS Premium Midsize Sedan
2009 Cadillac CTS lineup revived profits CTS-V high-performance model. CTS-V is powered by a supercharged 6.2-liter version of the Chevrolet Corvette's V8 engine. This produces 556 hp and mated to either 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission. CTS-V comes standard with GM's Magnetic Ride Control suspension, which automatically adjusts firmness within two driver-selectable modes. GM also offers the "Performance Traction Management" system on the CTS-V. This system is similar to GM Stabilitrak charging system, but is set up to help in the spirit of performance driving. The V is also getting interior upgrades that include Recaro-brand available seats with 14-way adjustment and suede-like microfiber wrap for the shift lever and steering wheel. Rest of the year 2009 Cadillac CTS lineup largely unchanged following the 2008 redesign. Rear-wheel drive standard, and all-wheel drive is available on all but the CTS-V. CTS base model has a 263-hp 3.6-liter V6 engine. Direct Injection Uplevel models have 304-hp 3.6-liter V6. Both engines team with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission. Security features that are available include ABS, traction control, charging system, curtain side airbags, and front side airbags. Available features include steering and connected lights keyless entry and engine. An optional navigation system.
