Does conventional EX37 an SUV or a car? Infiniti says it's a bit of both, trying to position the EX37 from the traditional mid-size SUV and claimed it was closer to the Audi A5 Sportback than the Q5. For this purpose, styling makes the point of shying away from the front of the cliffs so typical of traditional SUVs, no more than EX brother, the extrovert FX.

The EX37 also has a roof line that is more voluptuous than the Q5, X3 or Land Rover Freelander and, less than 1.6m high, which is lower. However, the high driving position is still more SUV than a car. As is the overall length and wheelbase EX37, in both cases within 11mm of the Q5's. Similarly, the 0.32 drag coefficient for an SUV, but poor for a coupé or sedan.

Confusion continues under the skin, because although the EX37 is a four-wheel drive, its origin more than any sports car field. Like all Infinitis, EX is based on the Nissan / Infiniti FM platform, as used in the 370Z, while four-wheel drive system comes from those used in the Nissan GT-R. Of Infiniti does not make a claim for the EX37's off-road ability, recommend you get lost no more than the lawn.

EX mechanically attached to the principles established. Suspension, while sophisticated in the use of double wishbones in front and multi-link rear, if no complications such as air suspension and active anti-roll bar. Dual-flow damper is the only component of tricks, allowing the damping force varies depending on the severity of impact.

Similarly, the mandatory 3.7-liter V6 gasoline engine capacity and delicious natural aspirations of forced induction, and does not feature direct injection. While far from adequate 316bhp, specific output per liter 85bhp nothing extraordinary. And although mandatory automatic gearbox offers a choice of seven teeth, take-up through a torque converter instead of a double clutch system.
