2010 Lincoln MKT is the latest addition to Ford's luxury brand portfolio. MKT is a middle-seat crossover SUV to seven and the stock elements of the basic design with Ford Flex. Two models are offered. Base is equipped with front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. Using a 270-hp 3.7-liter V6 engine. Top-line models and EcoBoost AWD only has 355-hp twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6. Single transmission for both engines is a 6-speed automatic. Maximum towing capacity 4500 pounds Available safety features include ABS, traction control, charging system, curtain side airbags, and front side airbags. Leather upholstery, heated and cooled front seats, power tilt and telescopic steering wheel, and power-adjustable pedals are standard. Ford Sync is also the standard controls for voice activated phone and MP3 player, and a hard drive to store 10 gigabytes worth of digital music files. Package options include a blind-spot alert, navigation system with voice control and real-time traffic alerts, and the panorama roof. Other options include power-folding 3rd row seat, heated and cooled 2nd-row seats, a refrigerated console box, DVD entertainment, and adaptive cruise control.
