Seat Altea XL 1.6 TDI 105 Ecomotive S InteriorThe chair seat five mini-MPV has experienced eco makeover. Both the standard Altea and larger models Altea XL has been given a badge Ecomotive company, which brought with VW Group 1.6-liter Common-rail direct injection TDI engine, stop-start system and energy recovery technologies.

These changes have given the two models 119g/km CO2 emissions, which the Altea eligible for £ 35 road tax. Eko common feature in the same car badges including lower altitude, low resistance tires and modified aerodynamics have all been away from Altea.

Seat says offers savings of CO2 is not going to make the overall vehicle output dropped low enough to lower taxes and therefore not eligible to apply at this point. Think of a Ecomotive light.

Impressive. The Altea has always been a competent player, with a decent dynamic abilities, but even makes more sense with a badge attached to the back Ecomotive. 1.6 TDI engine certainly is possible to mix with the best class.

Refined and perfected engine both in town and on the highway, while there is sufficient torque to ensure rapid progress through the teeth. Capable of 104bhp its 1405kg light weight and rare to find yourself in a position where you feel you want more.

Tire noise can be a problem though, especially on the highway.

XL offers spacious interior, especially for those in the rear. This does not have the flexibility of seven seats from some of its competitors (the platform will not allow it), but most of the boot space to compensate for this.

That raised driving position offers a good view of the road and the steering is both reach and rake adjustment. One problem, however, is a large A-pillars, which completely block the visibility, especially at the intersection and going around sharp corners. Rear visibility is also a flaw.
