To achieve this, designers have lowered Meriva and move forward instrument panel, creating more space for front passengers. A pillar has also been narrowed, helped the driver visibility. On the back, below the windows improve visibility for passengers, especially children. FlexSpace system sitting on the new Meriva has been improved through the current model; rear seat cushions and seatbacks slide back and lower in one action.

In addition, both the outer rear seats can be shifted back and forth individually. They also slide inside to provide a wider shoulder and leg room in the seat four layout. Lower the back seat without the headrest must be removed completely. With the rear seatbacks up, Meriva's boot has a capacity of 400 liters. This was increased to 920 liters by folding seatbacks, and 1500 liters if taken to the roof.
