Electric car maker Tesla has revealed the production version of electric Model S luxury hatch. S five-door model similar to the size of BMW 5-series. This is due to go on sale in 2012, and likely will be sold in the UK soon after the launch of the car. Tesla to open European HQ in London later this year. Tesla's engineering boss, ex-Jaguar and Lotus man Peter Rawlinson, said the car was "deep in the design and engineering phase".
