Nissan GT-R GT1 racer will be run by two different teams in the 2010 FIA GT1 World Championship series next season. Nissan Motorsports International (Nismo) confirmed the car will be run by Britain's Sumo Power GT, and the Swiss Racing Team, although the driver line up has not been revealed. Each team will run two cars with full technical support from Nismo.
Nismo has also released a new photo driver rear-drive, which is activated by normally aspirated 5.6-liter V8 engine mated to a six-speed sequential gearbox. This V8 producing 592bhp and 479 pounds ft of torque. Works Nissan GT-R was tested in several GT1 race in 2009, but this is the first time this car will compete in a full championship.
