Tesla, based makers of high performance electric cars, is aiming to launch a sales volume of BMW 3-series sized sedan in 2015 in an effort to raise the total volume of Tesla to about 200,000 cars a year. Tesla's chairman and CEO, Elon Musk, PayPal and set up a business called SpaceX to build a satellite for the U.S. government. He recently revealed Tesla Model S luxury sedan, which will go into production in mid 2012, the price of around $ 50,000 (likely to be £ 50,000 in England).

Model that will spawn "at least two" branches, perhaps crossover and a coupé, and raised Tesla volume between 30,000 and 40,000 cars per year. The new Tesla series of '3 ', which Musk said he would be a model that will ultimately optimize automotive technology has been developed by engineers for all future Teslas, will further lower the price of entry into the Tesla range around $ 30,000 and, with a branch model, could push the total volume to 200,000 a year.

Like the Model S, the new sedan will have a monocoque structure made of aluminum stampings Tesla himself, with the assembly in the new Tesla plant in southern California.

Completing the factory to create a new model of Tesla - anything up to six separate models using the same basic architecture and mechanical hardware - will require $ 500 million. Tesla is also due to increase its presence in the UK and Europe with the expansion of the new European headquarters in London later this year.
